‘Talkin’ Smack’, as the title may suggest is a sports blog that approaches all issues within sport today with an edge required to be both informative and entertaining to the reader. There are plenty of other blogs that only target one or two specific sports, however, this blog will cover the three major sporting codes I’ve grown up following for well over 20 years- the NBA, NRL and the EPL.

Talkin’ Smack will cover sports from all angles by using a competitive approach that all die-hard fans love to see every athlete demonstrate. Although the blog’s title utilises a common sporting slang to define athletes clashing during the heat of battle-the website will not sway away from its purpose, which is to provide its readers with articles built upon substance, perspective and facts. I will never claim to be an ‘in the know’, however, any inside information that is passed onto me, I will do my best to share. I understand that it’s inevitable that readers may not agree with everything that I will have to say, but I guarantee that each article will incorporate a level of an insight and research that is required to represent the best of each of the aforementioned sports.

This blog also understands the impact that social media plays amongst this generation’s sporting fan, and will incorporate outlets such as Twitter, Instagram, Facebook and Youtube to provide readers with up to minute info on all things sport.

Ultimately, ‘Talkin’ Smack’ aims to represent the educated fan by providing well thought out articles and a hub for other great websites that carry quality information to all it’s readers.
