With each passing day, more and more players are linked to different around clubs the world, and Talkin-Smack.com will be assessing some of these links and predict which ones may come to fruition.
Will Hughes. Club linked: LiverpoolÂ
This one seems to gathering momentum by the day with Liverpool reportedly having sent scouts to a number of Derby County matches.
According to Dave Wright in the Express, the 18 year old is also being tracked by a few other EPL heavy weights with the likes of Arsenal and both Manchester clubs all keeping track of the English talent.
However, its Liverpool that is making the most noise and there are reports emanating that Brendan Rogers has already asked FSG to bring out their purse and spend the cash on the youngster in January.
Fernando Llorente. Club Linked: ArsenalÂ
The Juventus hitman is reportedly on the Gunners’ radar with the Spaniard struggling to adapt life in Italy.
John Cross from the Mirror is reporting that Arsenal are showing strong interest and are pushing for a loan move. This sounds like an accurate link, as Arsenal are still on the hunt for a striker and a loan move is right up Wegner’s ally.
Luke Shaw. Clubs linked: Tottenham and Manchester United
I’ve been hugely impressed with Shaw’s performances this season (apart from him not playing last week and scoring 0 points for my fantasy team), and it was a matter of time before the big clubs came calling.
Although the left back recently signed a five year deal over the summer, The Daily Star are reporting that Tottenham (surprise, surprise!) and Manchester United are both lurking, and it may prove difficult for Southampton to fend off the big money deals.
Burak Yilmaz. Club linked: Chelsea
Chelsea are always linked with players and with their strikers struggling to score – that isn’t going to change any time soon.
The most recent player linked is the Galatasaray striker – Yilmaz, and Skysports.com are reporting that the Turkish club may be willing to listen to offers.
Club Chairman said: “If he wants to go and Chelsea are interested then of course, why not? I favour Turkish players going to Europe to play in European leagues.”
BREAKING: Howard Webb renews contract with Manchester United.
hahahahhahahahhahahahah good one
