AI once famously said….. “practice?…..we’re talking about practice, man?……..NOT A GAME!”

Well it seems that Lebron loves practice and loves to put on a show when the lights are off.

James has again disappointed the NBA world by reiterating his desire to not partake in this year’s dunk competition, and for next year’s in New York–“Nah, I’m gonna be 30.”

No one has really ever doubted that Lebron could put on a show and possibly win this competition. However, it seems that ‘King James’ does not want to be subjected to another MJ comparision, and possibly falling short in another category that ‘Air Jordan’ once dominated.

Personally, I think Lebron prefers to remind us he can do some special things, but wants to give off the impression that he doesn’t care about participating. It seems he does have a fear of failure in this competition, and being one of the most scrutinised athletes of the modern day era–who can blame him?

It looks like we’ll just have keep watching clips like these and keep talking about “practice!”
