Steve Menzies will join Brad Fittler as the other 40 year old making a comeback at this weekend’s Auckland Nine’s tournament.
Menzies has only just retired from Rugby League after spending 21 seasons in the top grade. The player nicknamed the ‘Beaver’ walked away from the NRL after a fairytale ending which saw him score a try in the Sea Eagles’ 40 point victory over the Storm in the 08 Grand Final.
